Publication of report on the standards landscape

The Ethics and Integrity Commission has today published a report by Dr Rebecca Dobson Phillips on the institutions that regulate standards in public life in the UK. The report focuses on Westminster and Whitehall, local government, and functions that are governed by central agencies.

This report was commissioned by the Ethics and Integrity Commission and was written by Dr Dobson Phillips, who is an Assistant Professor at the University of Sussex, and Pascal Dillabough-Lefebvre, Independent Researcher and Data Analyst.

The report is an updated version of a report commissioned to mark the 25th anniversary of the Committee on Standards in Public Life and published in February 2020.
